Dicoese of Fargo

The Diocese of Fargo was established in 1889 and comprises 30 counties in eastern North Dakota. Today there are over 68,000 registered Catholics out of a total population of 426,977 (16%). There are 115 priests (including active, retired and those serving outside the diocesan area), 47 permanent deacons, 63 religious sisters and 127 parishes in the diocese.
