Radiation Therapist

 

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Coordinates, prepares, and administers radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures to infants, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Applies appropriate radiation safety, practices, performs quality assurance procedures, and clear and concise documentation. Assumes complete responsibility and accountability with little supervision required.  Collaborates with others and seeks direction from supervisor or others as needed.

 

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

  • This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled
  • This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:
    • Texas: Lubbock
  • Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements

 

Relocation Details:

  • Providence is open to considering applicants from areas outlier to Lubbock, Texas
  • Please note a selected applicant who resides outside of the area, WILL BE required to relocate to the Lubbock, Texas region
  • Providence is willing to provide a relocation package for relocation to the Lubbock, Texas region

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a Radiation Therapy focus of study
  • Upon Hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist - RTT License 
    • Radiologic Technologist Therapy License
  • Upon Hire: RTT National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 
    • Radiologic Technologist Therapy National Certification

 

Preferred Qualification:

  • 1 or more years of experience in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology department
