As a Consumer Direct Home Lending Manager in Chase Home Lending, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Home Lending Advisors assisting customers with home purchase, refinance and home equity line needs.. You will leverage your expertise in the home lending industry to lead and motivate a team of Home Lending Advisors who are dedicated to serving our customers' financial needs. Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize your strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage and grow a team of Home Lending Advisors, maximizing sales opportunities
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership by attracting, recruiting, retaining, and developing a successful team who thrive in Chase's business environment. Provide overall sales leadership, model and coach key behaviors, and ensure effective education and employee development
  • Provide routine feedback and aim to achieve goals, maximizing the sales opportunities presented
  • Foster a high-morale, hard-working team environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and a passion for exceeding goals
  • Lead and support your team in helping customers with home purchase financing, reduced interest rates on existing mortgages  and accessing their home equity to finance life events, ensuring a customer-first approach in all interactions
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and sales results

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proven experience in the home lending industry with a strong understanding of mortgage products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Ability to execute strategic business plans and achieve sales targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Experience in overseeing structured call blocks, fast paced lead volumes, CRM follow up activities and loan pipeline management
  • Available to adhere to a Sunday through Thursday in office work schedule

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 2+ years of management experience within a Home Lending Originations environment
  • Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
  • Intermediate Personal Computer skills in a windows environment
