About Platform Distribution & Partnerships: Platform Distribution and Partnerships is a division of NBCUniversal's media group responsible for the distribution and monetization of the company’s multi-billion-dollar linear and streaming services portfolio to pay-tv providers, NBC broadcast affiliates, consumer technology platforms and devices, and consumer brands. A key revenue-generator, the division is comprised of content distribution, affiliate relations and strategic partnerships across NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo and various FAST channels. Role

This is a unique and outstanding opportunity that offers exposure to all aspects of the NBC Network. The Affiliate Relations Division liaises between the NBC Network/Peacock and the 200+ NBC Affiliate Local Stations around the US. This includes working with Entertainment, Sports, News and Peacock.

Ideally, you are someone with a passion for the media industry, a self-starter and who will work well in and promote a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Operations & Administration

  • Responsible for all systems administration including access requests, training sessions, documentation and troubleshooting
  • Manage Affiliate Relations internal/external communication including assisting with drafting messages and managing email distribution lists
  • Provide support to Affiliate Relations senior leadership and the broader team on ad hoc projects, analyses, and cross-department initiatives
  • Planning and coordinating client events, including distribution of tickets and promotional materials

Reporting & Data Management

  • Work across NBCU departments to manage platforms and databases housing key station/market information such as ratings and clearances
  • Create or optimize standardized reporting templates for key affiliate matters such as breaking news or local sports rights
  • Report station program clearances across Sports, Entertainment & News

Affiliate Management

  • Support Affiliate Reps in managing daily affiliate station relationships, driving clear communication, operational consistency, and partnership success
  • Collaborate with affiliates to ensure program clearances and maintain consistent communication of Network schedules, updates, and policy changes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a professional setting and/or relevant internship experience
  • Must be willing to work overtime and be flexible with hours

Desired Qualifications

  • Excel: Ability to manage and organize data sets, maintain trackers, and support reporting using functions such as pivot tables and lookups
  • PowerPoint: Ability to build clear, structured presentations that synthesize data and key updates for internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office tools for communication and documentation
  • Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works effectively in a team environment

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

  • Salary range: $62,000 - 75,000
