As a Associate Banker on the Disruptive Commerce and Internet team you’ll help grow and retain profitable client relationships with some of the world’s most innovative companies . You’ll collaborate across the firm to bring the full platform to clients while supporting bankers on acquisition and ongoing relationship management
Job responsibilities
- Support bankers in developing new business and deepening existing relationships by coordinating credit and payments solutions and leading targeted internal discussions to deliver the entire firm to clients
- Help build the team’s brand in‑market, positioning the platform as the leading innovation‑economy bank serving the best and most diverse clients
- Source and qualify prospects by leveraging referral networks and ecosystem relationships, with a focus on reaching diverse founders powering innovation .
- Champion a culture of innovation and customer centricity while balancing prudent risk management across credit, operational, and reputational dimensions
- Stay current on industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships and translate insights into client conversations and solutions
- Collaborate independently and as part of a dynamic team to coordinate resources and deliver best‑in‑class client experiences across the firm’s capabilities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2+ years of related experience in commercial banking, credit, venture/innovation economy, or adjacent financial services
- Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services, with demonstrated sales management and business development skills
- Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships; strong interpersonal and influencing skills with credibility among senior business and control partners
- Self‑directed, proactive, and creative; exercises sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done
- FINRA Series 79, Series 63, and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Strong team orientation and a passion for the innovation economy; eager to contribute to a national team of like‑minded bankers
