Surgical Sales Representative - Philadelphia

What You’ll Do 

As a Surgical Care Sales Representative, you will drive sales growth within your assigned territory by taking a consultative, relationship-focused approach to supporting healthcare professionals and improving patient outcomes. 

You will partner closely with Orthopaedic Instruments sales teams and collaborate across functions to build pipeline, close business, and expand existing accounts. 

  • Own and manage a defined geographic territory, executing a strategic plan to meet or exceed sales quotas 

  • Prospect, cold call, and develop new business across hospitals, surgery centers, and wound care clinics 

  • Engage with physicians, nurses, and clinical stakeholders to understand needs and recommend solutions 

  • Deliver product demonstrations, clinical training, and in-service education on wound care, skin closure, and negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) products  

  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive product adoption and long-term partnerships 

  • Collaborate with Orthopaedic Instruments partners to identify opportunities and close complex deals  

  • Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and track all account activity  

  • Analyze territory performance, customer data, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth 

  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and clinical meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads  

What you need 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 5+ years of outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management experience 

  • 2+ years of professional work experience 

Preferred: 

  • 1+ years of experience in medical device sales, or healthcare sales, or pharmaceutical sales, or B2B outside sales with quota responsibility 

  • Experience in wound care, surgical sales, NPWT, or clinical products 

  • Experience delivering product demonstrations, in-services, or clinical education 

  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce 

 

Additional Information 

  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently 

  • Travel is required within the assigned territory (approximately 50–70%) 

  • Must have a valid driver's license

$93,500.00 and may be eligible to earn sales bonuses + benefits bringing total compensation potential to $133,500.00
