The Retail Operations Specialist is responsible for driving operational consistency, strengthening controls, and supporting frontline execution across all Harvard FCU branches. This position conducts branch audits, reinforces policies through coaching and training, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure procedures are clear, aligned, and effective in the branch environment.
This role plays a critical part in identifying process gaps, reducing operational risk, improving staff performance through targeted coaching, and ensuring compliance with established standards. The Retail Operations Specialist also supports incentive validation and participates in cross department collaboration and projects that enhance retail operations.

Working Conditions: Onsite work is performed in an office setting
Standard Hours/Schedule: 35 hours per week - Onsite 3 Days Per Week
35 hours per week, split between branches, office, and remote work. Regular local travel required. Schedule may vary based on audits, training, and operational needs
Must be able to travel regularly between branch locations in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville

Work Format Details
This position has been determined by school or unit leaders that some of the duties and responsibilities can be effectively performed at a non-Harvard location. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University’s Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
