Asset Management - Net Lease Transaction Specialist

As a Net Lease Transaction Specialist in Asset Management, you will own the transaction process management from diligence through closing and post-closing, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and external partners. This is an execution-oriented role requiring strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a proactive operator who takes ownership, anticipates issues, and ensures transactions progress efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability.

Job responsibilities

  • Own and manage the transaction pipeline, including maintaining tracking tools, monitoring timelines, and providing clear status reporting and escalation of risks
  • Drive coordination across internal teams, including Acquisitions, Legal, Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, and Finance
  • Manage third-party diligence execution, including ordering, tracking, and delivery of key reports (e.g., title, environmental, appraisal)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for diligence vendors, coordinating access, managing deliverables, and resolving issues proactively
  • Support closing execution, including oversight of closing documentation, prorations, reconciliations, and debt-related deliverables
  • Ensure organization and integrity of transaction documentation, maintaining complete and auditable records
  • Support post-close onboarding and transition into asset management workflows
  • Assist with ongoing asset management operations, including: 
    • Tenant financials and insurance tracking
    • Monitoring of critical lease dates and compliance items
    • Maintaining accuracy of portfolio data and systems

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, transaction coordination, loan administration, brokerage, or related roles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of ownership and follow-through
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interfacing with internal teams and external partners (counsel, lenders, vendors, tenants)
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify risks and escalate effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree required

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities & skills

  • Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions and diligence processes, including title, environmental, and appraisal review
  • Familiarity with lease administration and portfolio operations
  • Notary Public (or willingness to obtain upon joining)
