We are seeking an entry-level Treasury Analyst to join our Asset Liability Management (ALM) team. The Analyst will support the team’s interest rate risk measurement and management functions, gaining exposure to ALM modeling, capital analysis, and the Bank’s broader finance operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong interest in bank finance and financial modeling to grow within a collaborative, high-performing team. This hybrid position has opportunity to work at either our corporate headquarters in Boston’s financial district or our Finance & Operations center in Wakefield.

  • Support the ALM team in running monthly interest rate risk simulations, including net income at risk and economic value at risk analysis under various rate scenarios. Develop familiarity with parallel and non-parallel yield curve shift modeling over time.
  • Assist with ALM assumption development, model documentation, and model maintenance and enhancement initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support comprehensive model back-testing and performance monitoring activities to help enhance model accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Support the production of regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis for the Bank’s ALCO process, including topics such as balance sheet dynamics, net interest margin trends, and ALM risks.
  • Support the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, including assumption development, documentation, and ongoing model maintenance, under the direction of senior team members.
