We are seeking a junior to mid-level AI Engineer to help build and scale enterprise AI capabilities across the bank. This role is responsible for developing AI agents and automated workflows, building retrieval and prompt systems, and supporting the integration and enablement of AI tools within embedded business division roles. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical development and business enablement, translating non-technical use cases into working technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design & Develop AI Solutions
- Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and automated workflows using platforms such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Power Platform, and SharePoint.
- Create scalable retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and prompt-engineering frameworks.
- Prototype and productionize AI solutions that improve day-to-day operations across the bank.
Partner with Business Teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, pain points, and opportunities for automation.
- Translate non-technical requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor supporting embedded AI initiatives across business divisions.
Enhance AI Performance & Reliability
- Develop and optimize retrieval systems, prompt architectures, and agent workflows to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
- Evaluate and refine AI solutions based on user feedback, performance metrics, and business outcomes.
Support AI Governance & Administration
- Assist in establishing governance processes for enterprise AI tools, including access management, usage policies, and documentation.
- Promote responsible AI practices, ensuring compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Support administration and enablement of AI platforms across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or a related technical role.
- Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and enterprise cloud or collaboration platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AI and LLM platforms such as Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or similar technologies.
- Experience with prompt engineering, AI agents, and agent frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 development or administration tools.
- Experience working with APIs, MCPs (Model Context Protocol), integrations, and data pipelines.
- Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and enterprise AI administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable business solutions.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
- Experience within financial services or another regulated industry is a plus.
