What you will do

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting PGIM's Alternative Investment Operations platform, providing operational oversight across Asset Based Finance (ABF) and Residential Mortgage Whole Loan strategies. You'll help manage critical activities throughout the investment lifecycle , including deal onboarding, trade settlement, funding, asset servicing, and secondary market trading activities. The role requires extensive collaboration with Portfolio Management, Deal Teams, Legal, Fund Management, counterparties, custodians, trustees, and agent banks to ensure the accurate and timely execution of transactions and ongoing portfolio support.

This position is based in our office in Newark, NJ and will follow a hybrid schedule. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure ( 3 days in office) where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.

What you can expect

  • Actively facilitate the deal execution process in coordination with deal team, counsel, fund management, and other internal and external stakeholders.

  • Capture and maintain primary and secondary market trading activity within the Order Management System (OMS), ensuring accurate and timely IBOR positions and records.

  • Manage end-to-end wire payment processes, ensuring efficient deal funding, settlement, and adherence to operational controls.

  • Coordinate and execute private asset transfers.

  • Manage daily production including cash forecasting and positioning.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to research and resolve cash and position breaks.

  • Prepare and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports to support business, operational, and management decision-making.

  • Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and support business growth.

What you will bring

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline preferred - All majors considered.

  • 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services

  • Experience supporting Asset Based Finance, Residential Mortgage Loans, Private Credit, or Restructures

  • Intermediate or Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Strong ability to independently research issues, evaluate information, and develop effective solutions while exercising sound judgment and appropriately escalating complex matters.

  • Strong work ethic, honesty and integrity, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment

What will set you apart?

  • Experience interpreting Credit Agreements and Purchase Agreements a plus

  • Experience working with Transfer Agents a plus

  • Experience settling Delayed Draw Term Loans (DDTL) and Revolvers and instructing/settling DWAC, DRS, FOP, and physical bonds or equities a plus

  • Experience with Aladdin/Aladdin Loan Manager or other loan servicing platforms a plus

Note: Prudential is required by state-specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $110,000 to $140,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
