Role Purpose: The Contracts Specialist resides in the Intellectual Property (IP) Innovation, Technology, and Policy team, which provides strategic legal and policy counsel to NBCUniversal divisions worldwide on disruptive technologies, and negotiates transactions that leverage AI and other new technologies. Working closely with the team’s lawyers and administrative staff, the Contracts Specialist will support a wide range of matters relating to the drafting, negotiation, and oversight of agreements, including NDAs, AI-related agreements, IP licenses, and similar contracts. The Contracts Specialist will also assist with IP due diligence for M&A transactions and help the team design and implement tools to automate and track transactional processes.
