Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in molecular and cellular biology and/or mouse husbandry to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ongoing studies exploring how the PI3K-mTOR signaling network is altered in cancer, diabetes, and aging, and how targeting components of the signaling network might lead to new insights into how to treat or prevent these conditions. Research is particularly focused on how this signaling network is integrated with metabolic networks to control cell growth and systemic nutrient metabolism. Ongoing studies employ genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, and animal models combined with unbiased systems-level tools, including genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and bioinformatics.
