Job Summary: Operates fully accessible shuttle van as a supplement to the fixed route shuttle bus service.  Receives online ride requests via Harvard’s evening van mobile application and responds to requests throughout Cambridge / Allston campuses.  Assists passengers with mobility impairments as needed.   Job-Specific Responsibilities: Operates shuttle van to meet scheduled and on-demand passenger pick-up requests. Communicates on two-way radio with dispatcher to receive instructions and confirm changes, additions, or deletions from route schedule. Assists passengers with mobility impairments both entering and exiting.  Performs daily safety inspection of vehicle and equipment.  Completes vehicle condition report that includes requests for maintenance and repair. Performs daily cleaning of vehicle interior including: emptying the trash receptacles, sweeping the floor, and dusting the seating surfaces.  Performs refueling of vehicle as needed....
