The Loan Servicing Flex Specialist supports the Loan Servicing and Loan Setup teams. The role requires an experienced, detailed oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage a broad range of loan setup, servicing, and maintenance activities for mortgage, commercial, and consumer loan files.
This position supports a hybrid on-site/remote schedule.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process loan payments and other financial transitions accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
- Calculate, verify, and process payoff quote requests received from internal and external sources.
- Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of servicing requirements across all loan products.
- Process participation loan payments and disbursements, including interest calculations, and research and resolve discrepancies with partner institutions.
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries through the phone queue, CRM email, and other communication channels in a professional, accurate, and service-focused manner.
- Accurately and promptly board commercial loans to the CORE system and review commercial loan setup completed by other team members to ensure required fields are complete and accurate.
- Process commercial loan modifications and related updates and review modifications processed by other team members to confirm accuracy and completeness.
- Complete the monthly SBA remittance process for all SBA-guaranteed loans.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with departmental projects, operational initiatives, and tasks assigned by management.
- Provide flexible support to the Loan Servicing and Loan Setup teams based on business needs and workload priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Three to five years of loan operations experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
- Demonstrated sound analytical judgement, strong attention to detail, and ability to review and interpret legal and loan documentation for accuracy.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, understand debit and credit transactions.
- Ability to recognize irregular or suspicious transactions and take appropriate steps or action to prevent loss to the Bank or its customers.
- Proficiency with general PC applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated good quality communication and interpersonal skills – internal partners and external professionals.
Compensation: A good‑faith, reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $22.00-$27.00 per hour and the actual offer will depend on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education
