Loan Origination Specialist

 

Join Our Mortgage Lending Team!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Origination Specialist to support our Mortgage Originators throughout the residential mortgage loan process. This role is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and customer support while helping ensure a smooth and efficient experience for borrowers from application through closing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Mortgage Originators by managing loan files and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assist borrowers throughout the mortgage application process and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Request, collect, review, and upload required loan documentation.
  • Monitor loan pipelines and help ensure applications move efficiently through the lending process.
  • Coordinate with Mortgage Originators, Processors, and internal partners regarding file status and outstanding conditions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide coverage when Mortgage Originators are unavailable.
  • Assist with CRM management, customer follow-up, and other marketing and business development activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience in a mortgage lending environment.
  • Experience supporting Mortgage Originators preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and loan origination systems, including Encompass, preferred.

Compensation: A goodfaith, reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000+, and the actual offer will depend on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.  This base salary reflects one component of our competitive compensation package. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
