The Front Office Coordinator performs a variety of duties related to the authorization of insurance for patients of the and their physicians. They also perform a variety of general office duties, use of office equipment, greeting patients and visitors, collecting data for registration and the billing process, entering patient charges, scheduling ancillary tests, assembling patient charts, and filing. May be responsible for entering data into the outcomes database. Will also be responsible for normal maintenance of office equipment and ordering office supplies and some medical supplies as directed.  Is accountable for the day to day operations of ensuring the center runs smoothly and effectively.
